We have a local repo that we NFS mount. Every now and then the repo mount disappears. You know how NFS is sometimes. However we never know that the mount has gone away and yum seems perfectly happy. Is there some means to know that the local repo disappeared when running yum?
if yum can't connect to the repo and its cache has expired or it needs something from the repo, then it will complain.
If you want to force the check run: yum clean expire-cache yum repolist That will definitely check the repo out -sv _______________________________________________ Yum mailing list Yum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.baseurl.org/mailman/listinfo/yum
