Updating Fedora Core #2

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Well I was now able to update to at least FC5 and I figured out why the server didn't boot with the newer kernels.
My provider gave me remote console access which makes debugging way easier.
GRUB is empty.
Yes, I'm not sure how this happens but I have to manually enter the kernel it needs to boot. Does anyone know why this is? I checked /boot/grub/grub.conf and the kernels are in there.
I know I'm missing something.

Tom
