[Yum] Feature Requsest: journaling

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

If a yum update is interrupted (terminal closed by mistake, powerfailure,
network hickup etc) the cleanup phase is not executed, leaving the system
with duplicate packets.

Would it be possible to minimize this problem the database/filesystem way by
keeping a journal on disk? This could make sure each yum "session" is run in
full by continuing execution next time yum is started.
