I'm getting this on two FC4 systems but not on two other FC4 systems. Seems to be the same problem as https://lists.dulug.duke.edu/pipermail/yum/2006-March/008427.html https://lists.dulug.duke.edu/pipermail/yum/2006-March/008438.html https://lists.dulug.duke.edu/pipermail/yum/2006-March/008517.html This issue effectively kills yum: one can't update or install. Doing yum clean all or yum makecache has no effect. If I do wget -4 "http://ayo.us5.freshrpms.net/fedora/linux/4/i386/freshrpms/repodata/repomd.xml"; I get the file requested but adding inet4_only = on to /etc/wgetrc doesn't help yum. Bob T.
