[Yum] Re: errors on update or install with yum

looks like going the ftp route works for me, our proxy server doesnt
track ftp usage since not many of our people even know what ftp is. 
so one lesson and expeience even if you have gotten a route/firewall
rule around the proxy server and disabled use of the proxy server some
requests for some reason get lost in there, I could see the logs where
my requests were going and that cache wasnt returning anything and
therefore the failure.
