Exactly as Jim said, this is FAQ #5 and is solved by fixing other stuff (though FTP repository should have fixed the problem). Speaking of FAQ 5, it recommends doing this echo -e 'TRACE" stuff that was recommended by Joshua Jensen in a post https://list.dulug.duke.edu/pipermail/yum/2005-July/006996.html What should people look for in the output of that command? Just the "Via: proxyidentifier" which would at least help them confirm that yes, they are behind a proxy and one that is broken and maybe give them info on who to contact? Thanks, Greg
