How can I install i386 versions of packages on a Fedora x86_64 system? I need to be able to use flashplayer which does not have a x86_64 version. I tried just to put [base] name=Fedora Core $releasever - i386 - base baseurl=http://fedora.csi.hu/4/i386/os [updates] name=Fedora Core $releasever - i386 - Released Updates baseurl=http://fedora.csi.hu/updates/4/i386/ into a config file I named yum.conf.i386, but I get # yum -c /etc/yum.conf.i386 install firefox Repository base is listed more than once in the configuration Setting up Install Process Setting up repositories base 1.1 kB 00:00 updates 951 B 00:00 updates-released 100% |=========================| 951 B 00:00 extras 100% |=========================| 1.1 kB 00:00 Reading repository metadata in from local files Parsing package install arguments Resolving Dependencies --> Populating transaction set with selected packages.
