[Yum] Errors after a full yum update

Was it a fresh install of RH9 or a fresh install of FC3 or an install
of RH9 with an upgrade to FC3?  Where do your yum conf files point?

Let's clarify that first point before diving into your other problems...

I don't think so.

Again, it depends on what your system _was_ and which repositories you
used to update it.  If you had FC3 and pointed the conf files at some
crazy repositories that do "bad things"...then of course you are going
to have problems, right?  We need some more details to help you out.
