[Yum] Funky arches in vendor RPMs

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

We have an RPM downloaded from HP where the arch is "amd64". Gotta love
this, but they also provide one with arch "em64t" :(

We're trying to install the amd64 one via yum from a repo and it fails.
The primary.xml.gz entry starts like this:
<package type="rpm"><name>hprsm</name><arch>amd64</arch><version
epoch="0" ver="7.3.0" rel="58"/>

If I try "yum install hprsm.amd64" it fails. If I try "yum install
hprsm.x86_64" it also fails (obviously).

Is there any way to get yum to install this RPM? Or is yum disregarding
the unknown arch?

Thanks.
