[Yum] Yum munging systems?

I scanned fedora-list for this month - none of the items with yum in the
subject line seem to say anything like 'yum eats my system and causes
herpes' nor anything about apt.

so I'm going to assume, for the moment, that it doesn't do that. :)

ask your 'source' if they would be willing to contact me privately and
I'll see what I can tell them.
