[Yum] Preferred repository - in a way...

    Since you're setting up a local mirror anyways, why point to an
    external one at all?  It seems like it would be simpler just to
    regularly update your local mirror/repository and only point you
    machines to that mirror.


I guess it is a matter of when the remaining 2GB is worth wile 
transporting. Of course it only has to be done once, so yes that might 
solve the problem. It just appeared easier to use yum as the engine, but 
point taken.
