[Yum] kernel upgrade not making new kernel grub default?

update to the one from fc3 then you can add a file in /etc/sysconfig/
named 'kernel':
that looks something like:
# UPDATEDEFAULT specifies if new-kernel-pkg should make
# new kernels the default
UPDATEDEFAULT=yes

# DEFAULTKERNEL specifies the default kernel package type
DEFAULTKERNEL=kernel


so, in short, yum's not doing this bit anymore, mkinitrd in the %post of
the kernel install is.
