Hey people, I have a Redhat 7.3 VPS w/ Plesk Server Administration v7.0.0.2. I want to update apache, php, mysql, bind, courier-imap, and qmail. Basically all of the apps my website depends on to run. I used YUM some time ago and got it to work for me but don't remember much now. So.. what I am looking for toda is some guidance setting up my config file and maybe someone I can IM for quick questions. My first question is this: I am trying to update from Yum v1 to Yum v2, but I need Python 2.4 installed. Can I install the ready-to-go Fedora Core 3 RPM package? If not, do I need to work with a SRPM to get Python 2.4 installed? Let me know, thanks!
