Hi, I've got yum working ok with my Redhat 9 systems using the public fedora repository. Because I only have a modem connect I can't rsync them locally and so I have tried to create my own local repository with yum-arch. My problem is that yum fails (on a fresh Redhat9 minimal install) when I change yum.conf to point to my own local repository. I have exported the repository using apache. I tested that I can get the rpms and the hdrs using lynx. Lynx offers to save the rpms to disk but just shows the hdrs as scrambled text. I guess this has something to do with mime types but I cant find any refence to rpm in the httpd conf files. Thanks Rob
