So the short answer is: yes, most likely. the long answer is: 1. fedora core 2 isn't out yet 2. there may be some 'fixes' you'll need to do after the update (selinux-related things, mostly) 3. you might need to play some games depending on how well the packages are done to obsolete things adequately.
