[Yum] slight difference in RPM names when doing "yum list updates"

not sure if this is specifically a yum question, or a fedora core
question, but as i was doing a "yum list updates" in prep for updating
my FC2-test1 system, i was watching the headers output going by and
noticed a slight (but consistent) difference in package names:

  in repo: samba-3.0.2...
  in output: samba-0-3.0.2...

what's with that extra "-0" in the output from "yum list updates"?
and that happens fairly frequently.

i'm sure it's insignificant, i'm just puzzled as to what it
represents. (for other packages, it might be "1" instead.)
