Have you set the proxy configuration? Check 'man yum' and search for 'proxy'. "No route to host" is (surprise, surprise) a routing problem, so that could be a proxy issue. Now try these: a) telnet download.fedora.us 80 (I expect it to give you a similar error.) b) export your proxy variable and try with urlgrabber (as you did above) again.
