[Yum] yum daily - 2.0.X

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,
 New yum daily release:
  Changes:
  - yum can handle archs specified on the cli for package
    updates/upgrades/installs/erases:
yum erase zlib-devel.i386 - will only erase zlib-devel.i386
      yum install zlib-devel.i686 - will install zlib-devel.i686
This is mostly handy for those people on ppc64 or amd64
    architectures.
  - included David Christian's patch to the output logging when running
    from a tty
  - included the czech and ukranian translations
  - misc clean ups

Tarball:
http://linux.duke.edu/yum/download/2.0/daily/yum-20040403.tar.gz

Source rpm:
http://linux.duke.edu/yum/download/2.0/daily/yum-2.0.6-20040403.src.rpm

RPM - built on fedora core 2, test 2 (ish):
http://linux.duke.edu/yum/download/2.0/daily/yum-2.0.6-20040403.noarch.rpm

let me know what's broken - I'd like to get these tested by people other
than me and moved along - yum 2.0.7 before fedora core test3 freeze
would be good.

Thanks,
-sv
