Yeah the yum-arch is what I had found on my own just before this message came in. Amazingly simple! I did have to delete my headers/ directory once and redo it one level up because I didn't realize that yum was smart enough to handle one index for all architectures. So I just point my clients one level above their architecture directory, and let them sort out what arch they prefer for packages. That would be worth pointing out in any docs.
