just to clarify my thoughts on a yum HOWTO (for which, i might add,
there seems to be no link from the yum page to rgb's howto), i'd like
to see a doc along the lines of:

- what is yum and how is it related to rpm?
- what (in brief) does a yum repository look like, and how would
one write a URL to one? (examples of a few repositories here)
- how to use yum on the client side (including any config file stuff
  like /etc/yum.conf)
- how to set up yum on the server side, for the more ambitious

just my $0.03 cdn.
