I all! Last week I sent a message to the list about a patch I was working on to add installroot and downloadonly options to yum-1.0.3. I've been trying it for a couple days but I've been unable to correct the error messages I commented last week: error: cannot open Conflictname index using db3 - No such file or directory (2) I've tracked all the code that opens the RPM database and I'm pretty sure I added installroot to all of it, so I'm not sure if this problem comes from my patch or from an external component (rpm-python?) Even with this message, everything seems to work. I even installed a complete RH8 image with this patch and used it to start a UML host, and it worked... So please, if someone with more knowledge than me can take a look at it, I'll be very gratefull. Also people interested in this feature, try it out and tell me if it doesn't work...
