Hi all, new daily. merged the failover patch, cleaned up a few things, in misc places: failover conf file syntax is pretty simple: [myserver] name=myserver name baseurl=http://firstserver/path/ http://secondserver/path/ http://thirdserver/path/ http://fourthserver/path/ failovermethod=roundrobin failovermethod can be roundrobin or priority, others could follow. failovermethod defaults to roundrobin roundrobin chooses one at random then marches through them in sequence priority goes from first to last, in order. if yum fails to contact a server then it is dropped from the list for that run.
