Hello All Um ............. are newbie's welcome on this list ? :-) Anyway, Yum, works nicely thanks. I have 1 pc connected with dial-up to the net RH8 and another also RH8 networked to it without net access. I see that when Yum is run then the rpm's are placed in /var/cache/yum. can my pc 2 use that as a yum archive? Do I have to have 2 config files on PC1? One configfile when acting as a client and another as a server? Thanks from a confused peter
