If others wish to do things like this I think they are wasting their time and would be better off working with the folks at red hat on advancing the interactivity (or capabilities) of rpm but I'll be more than glad to watch them work on it. All I intended to do when working on yum was replace yup. I did that. It more or less works. There are about 3 features left until the task that I wanted to achieve is complete.
