What seems so simple...

I note that when looking at stripped versions when any of
the backtrace'd functions are static (type 't') and therefore
not in the symbol list, the backtrace will find and use the 
closest-but-less-than symbol value, thereby giving a completely
bogus symbol translation.

I'm not sure what's worse -- not doing the translation at all
or showing potentially bogus entries.
