Adding support for deleting and reverting external snapshots is desired since qemu does not really want to go forward with internal snanpshots. The plans for fixing this are indefinite though. I'll probably work on it but currently I'm working on '-blockdev'-izing of the qemu driver so I can't really tell you any time frame.
