And this is the configuration /etc/nsswitch.conf ld4004:~ # cat /etc/nsswitch.conf # # /etc/nsswitch.conf # passwd: compat group: compat hosts: files libvirt dns networks: files dns services: files protocols: files rpc: files ethers: files netmasks: files netgroup: files nis publickey: files bootparams: files automount: files nis aliases: files And this is the domain's interface type / configuration: <interface type='network'> <mac address='52:54:00:31:dd:59'/> <source network='default'/> <model type='rtl8139'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x03' function='0x0'/> </interface> <interface type='network'> <mac address='52:54:00:5d:1e:dc'/> <source network='internal'/> <model type='rtl8139'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x08' function='0x0'/> </interface> However, there's still no record of the domain's IP address: ld4004:~ # virsh domifaddr --source lease vm02-fai Name MAC address Protocol Address ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Could this issue be related to the domain's NIC configuration, means model type='rtl8139' or the fact that 2 NICs are configured? For your information, it fails also with model type='virtio'.
