I have to deploy some Ubuntu machines via pxe/dhcp/tftp/preseed/puppet on a vlan. the switches are configured to add vlan tag to the traffic to/from those machines. To test new configuration, i tried to configure a domain alike it was connected by a port of a managed switch configured in general mode where untag id is not 1. Anybody have already done this ? Can i use openvswitch to do this ?
