   LV Status              NOT available

The "NOT" bit here is interesting.

Just checked a system here, to see if that's how
it should be. Doesn't look like it:

  $ sudo lvdisplay ArecaDataGroup/ArecaMainDataVol
    --- Logical volume ---
    LV Name                /dev/ArecaDataGroup/ArecaMainDataVol
    VG Name                ArecaDataGroup
    LV UUID                AsDlLZ-3BhF-5grN-fF6Z-ThG3-hWIt-oQ0xdI
    LV Write Access        read/write
    LV Status              available
    # open                 1
    LV Size                2.73 TiB
    Current LE             715255
    Segments               1
    Allocation             inherit
    Read ahead sectors     auto
    - currently set to     256
    Block device           253:2

What happens if you try and change that, with vgchange? ie.:

  $ sudo vgchange -ay <name of lv>

?
