Hi Umar

Just a week ago, I had tested redhat storage, which is based on glusterfs.In the guide that redhat provide, the glusterfs volume transport is asked to be TCP. I don't know why this document say you can define the transport type as socket or rdma or unix. 
About the question you said in the first email, I can't give you any answer. Sorry!

Glusterfs is a solution for cloud storage.
I don't get your point about integrating libvirt with Glusterfs.
Are you want to build guest in the storage pool that consist of Glusterfs
Volume?
