Re: rebuild RHEL 6 ISO

I had this problem with RHEL5, so it is probably the same.  You will to make a copy of the comps (groups) file from the repo and pass that as the groups file

when creating (recreating the repo).  The createrepo will erase the directory and contents and regenerate the files.

I deleted the older rpms from Packages dir and copied the latest packages and run the createrepo from Packages dir. It didn’t work. Kickstart complains of missing older rpm(s). Is there anything I am missing ?

Hi you need to issue a createrepo command to rebuild the metadata associated with the ISO internal repos.
Then you can create the ISO again.
