Assigning predefined partitions

Hi

Does "--grow" option have any effect on a an existing partition?

for example, the kickstart configurator allows the following partition
line


part /usr --fstype ext3 --size 2048 --grow --onpart sda7


I believe it should not, but i am doubtful after seeing the preview of the
kickstart file generated by the configurator.
