I'm now wondering if it may be a timeout with NFS?
I have noticed that stopping and starting the nfs service takes awhile on my
server. Anyone know what causes this delay for the nfs service?
mounting an nfs mount seems to be delayed also, and I sometimes get "mount:
RPCD: Timed out".
Any suggestions on speeding up NFS? I wonder if it is doing some dns lookup
or something. These servers are on a separate switch without a gateway.

Hi,
just a thing... the last time I met this problem it wasn't DHCP....
I ran my installs via FTP and I had in my ks.cfg
url --url ftp://192.168.1.10
and got the same error as you. The correct syntax was
url --url ftp://192.168.1.10/
Perhaps you meet similar little 'syntax kwirk' in NSF server / path
specification ?
