Well i install more than several hundreds of machine.
foreach machine it takes to me less than 30 seconds with kickstart +
cfengine ( for the machine of course it s more but i don't care ).
I would prefer not to have hardware manipulation.

I would prefer not use floppy too
i used to use them but i have terrible problem with bad sectors.
a CDROM is far more reliable.
