I'm sure they have. I use Sun's jdk-1.3.1_05-fcs on Redhat 7.3, which
requires libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2, but the RPM knows nothing about this.
I have to install compat-libstdc++-6.2-2.9.0.16 to make it work.
Worst case I guess I can add a second RPM that depends on the Sun J2RE
RPM that simply installs the plugins.
That would seem to be the cleanest way to do it.
