Along with John's suggestion (which sounds good), also have a look
at parted and (expecially) partimage.  They are a lot like ghost
(but not limited to booting a client box with a dos-based
floppy/image).

I have used it with great success for backup purposes, but never for
mass-cloning.  However, that purpose is exactly what it advertises
about itself.  It should be installed on your system already.
