Hey I asked for that deselect capability on this list last year!
Someone must have added it (I was supposed to submit changes but never
did). Thank you whoever did it!

As a work around I edit /RedHat/base/comps to remove packages that I want
to deselect. However, it would be much more useful if I could do this
