You haven't told us what "barks out" means.  If you get some kind of
error message, you'll get more help if you include it.  Note that
there may be useful messages on other consoles.

Using NFS in %post is tricky, but I have to ask why you need to.  Why
not just add that RPM to your distribution and install it along with
the other packages?  Or, since you're using a web server already, why
not tell RPM to get the package from a URL?
