I found a solution to this problem ! I don't know why but this happens
when I have 2 scsi disks connected in the machine. If I remove the second
disk, then everything is ok and it continues to uncompress the kernel,
etc. This is really strange ! Can anybody explain why it gets stuck when
more than one disk is connected to the machine ? Note that the second disk
can be seen ok when the machine has been kickstarted.
