Ohhh, my bad. I was using the bootnet.img. I switched to boot.img and threw my ks.cfg file and hacked the syslinux.cfg.
Much better now, save, I'm getting a real funky error:
"Could not allocate requested partitions"
worked fine before?
on <alt>+f4 I'm seeing a bunch of stuff regarding RAID setup.
Looks like it's expecting to see a RAID device to install on??
Is this a know bug?
I changed very little in ks.cfg, just took out the NFS info and added a line "cdrom" under install.

Subject: RE: boot: ks= paremeters for bootable cdrom
First, are you using the boot.img file instead of the bootnet.img file used
for NFS?
Second, to get the ks.cfg file from the CD-ROM, you must patch the loader,
or insert it into the initrd.img. Are you booting with a floppy? If not,
ks=floppy is trying to get the ks.cfg from the floppy.
If you want to boot from the CD, either put your ks.cfg into the initrd.img
and use ks=file:/ks.cfg, or fix the loader and put your file anywhere on the
cd and use ks=cdrom:<path>/ks.cfg. Both of these methods are in the
archive, and there are a few people trying to put all of this info onto a
web page. If you read the archives and still have problems, or you need the
patch and/or the fixed loader, let me know.

I'm getting an error: cannot find kickstart file: /tmp/ks.cfg
My syslinux.cfg says ks=floppy
This worked when booting off floppy for NFS, but now its all on a standalone
CDROM. What should the parameter be for CD installs? My ks.cfg lives in
the bootable portion of the cdrom (an El Torito floppy image).
I supposes I could make a copy of the ks.cfg and put it on the cdrom's root
and do ks=cdrom:/ks.cfg
But that seems redundant?? I would like to test the rest of the automated
install before burning another CD-rom by manually entering the boot:
parameters.
Anybody know? It doesn't appear to be in the manual.
Thanks!
