Hi guys, It is only necessary to launch buildinstall if you change your kernel-boot RPM, your anaconda and anaconda-runtime RPM and your busy-anaconda RPM (or something like this).... So if you haven't change any of the package "used" (no direct using) during the install you haven't had to launch it. But I do agree that this part (anaconda) is very...very badly documented.... but just in case you always have the "fucking sources" Jean-Yves >Would someone mind explaining what buildinstall does? I can >see that it >generates some new .img files, but how do these differ from >the the originals? > >In my ignorance, I created a bootable CD without running >this step. The CD >installs just fine, so I'm wondering what I missed. > >Regards, > >Chris ______________________________________________________ Boîte aux lettres - Caramail - http://www.caramail.com
