I used several machines, all showed the same signs, all commercial desktops. (2 HP's and 1 Compaq). All are IDE, seperate bus configs I think, but as has been said before, this exact setup (1 of those is my dedicated test machine) worked fine with 7.1, just 7.2 blows up with it. I finally got mine working somehow, not really sure what changed, but I'm working on one of my "broken" cd's to try and figure out what's different.
