Re[2]: kickstarting RedHat 7.1 on a full scsci computer

     I have a similar situation. I have a RH6.2 kickstart installation,
but we have recently changed H/W and the kickstart install pkg doesn't
include the scsi driver that I need. I can do manual install using a
driver disk, but how do I incorporate this into my kickstart install?
I have tried putting the initrd.img(with the updated modules.cgz
including the scsi driver (sym5c83xxx) and kernel from the manually
installed system onto my kickstart floppy, but the system can't
recognize the scsi. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly
     appreciated.

     Thanks,

     Jeff

The problem is that the scsi module is not in the bootnet disk but in the
driver disk.

Then u have to use it
The problem is that according to the documentation you have to put it
on a partition on the local machine.

Then it s not possible to use it to a brand new machine.

Hope this help
