Seth,

After I struck out on Andreas's suggestion, I upgraded certmaster and
func to 0.25 on the master overlord server and on the 3 nodes so I
could try your suggestion.

Unfortunately certmaster-sync doesn't work:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/certmaster-sync", line 139, in ?
    main()
  File "/usr/bin/certmaster-sync", line 129, in main
    hosts = syncable(certs)
  File "/usr/bin/certmaster-sync", line 48, in syncable
    for host, result in results.iteritems():

I don't know what results is supposed to be, but its value is -1 every
time I run it.
