There is talk of expanding Loki to know how to manage VMs and other resources. For now it's hard coded to maintain a farm of buildbots (http://buildbot.net). For Loki to do other things buildbot management would need to be abstracted to a plugin so that VMs and other things could be plugged in instead. Our initial intent with Loki was to centralize the maintenance of buildbots across a large build farm. Version 0.5.0 has just been released including the following features: Ability to maintain information about servers, create and manage master and slave bots, and generate basic config files for bots.
