So, during any install you're already counting on that an http/ftp/nfs
server is not being spoofed on your network. B/c if it is, anaconda will
happily install compromised packages and even push in an exploiters
gpgkeys. The problem is you have to start your trust somewhere.
Yes. Exactly what I was trying to say earlier.
b/c the size of the overhead to run it is too large. Setting it up is
more than: yum install func; /etc/init.d/certmaster
start; /etc/init.d/funcd start
That's one of the points. Simple things get used immediately,
complicated things only get used after hours of meetings and planning.
Or the more complex things do not get used at all :)
Tools need to be simple, easy to understand, and supremely easy to
extend. In the case of datacenter automation, efficient
provisioning is the silver bullet to the administration werewolf.
