getfedora a couple of notes to usability and techical corectness

Hi,

while I am a Fedora developer, even as a user I find usage of getfedora website
very problematic.

Model situation:

I just bought a computer known to be able to run linux[1]. I want to check whether
Fedora builds for that type of computer and download a USB image, as minimal as
possible.

Somehow I get to th getfedora website. Somehow I learn that the iMac should be
a 64 bit powerpc machine.

1) The website doesn't tell me anything about supported architectures.

2) The website offers an image for 64 bit processors but I guess the image is only
for a narrow subset of 64 bit processor types usually called the amd64 or x86_64
architecture.

3) The minimal netinst image is huge. I guess there must be the good old minimal
netinst image that just downloads the installer and runs it. Or was it dropped
in the past?

Cheers,

Pavel
