If you do that then the browser still downloads all the content and then
doesn't display some of it, which seems wasteful.  It also won't work
with non-Javascript browsers.  Surely better is to generate the page on
the server with just blog posts in the languages requested.

OTOH, that would mean not having a single static HTML page to serve
identically to all users.
