Unless someone adds a way to support that to linux I do not think HDR will work.

    Thanks Barry, that is what I was afraid of, so the best I can hope
    for is the monitor emulating HDR as it appears to be doing now after
    I changed the terminal settings in its hardware configuration,
    pressing the HDR button on the front of the monitor was not enough
    to set up HDR in its internal settings.
