Yes, you include enough text to maintain context, but only what's
relevant for that.

Most people prefer to read things in chronological order, with the
question first, followed by the answer. Top posting reverses that.
Office workers file things with the most recent paper in front, so
they're used to reverse chronological order, but the rest of us don't
like it. And if you read the list guidelines, you'll see that they tell
you not to top post.
